Hello everyone!

After that temporary transgression that was December, I am now back in line with my updates and with this edition we have:

Download PGN of January '06 Dragon Sicilian games

Friedel - Ehlvest: A rather poor new approach to meeting the Dragadorf. I'm telling you now, this will not take off!

Inarkiev - Khalifman: The incredibly strong Dragon convert (well sort of) appears to get on the bandwagon of the Dragon/Najdorf hybrid but then gives us all food for thought:

Is all as it seems?

Morris - Ward: A blast from the past prompted by my viewing of a new thread on the forum.

Ziatdinov - Shivaji: It's that prophylactic Nde2 again and this time we investigate the exact position that came into question on the forum:

Thanks go to 'Gsan33'

Izoria - Tiviakov: A not especially exciting Accelerated Dragon but again Tiviakov shows how Black should defend against the 'Maroczy Bind':

Schmaltz - Smerdon: A once trendy Classical line but why White players continue to play this I don't know:

Miller - Ward: For a bit of fun a non (serious) competitive recent encounter of mine that examines the concept of 'hacking'!

I will keep an eye on the forum from time to time but don't forget if there is anything that any of you subscribers out there want scrutinising then don't forget to drop us a line.

Bye for now, Chris
