Hi everyone!

Well hopefully I'll be playing some chess in July and August and the chance for a Dragon game or two of my own. As I will be forced to do a bit of study, it could well be some more ideas are uncovered and you guys will be the first to find out when they appear.

Meanwhile, for this month's update though I have...

Proving that I do keep an eye on what happens on the forum, a sort of anti-Dragon variation that has peaked the interest of a few members:

Yes, Bellin - Miles and Grefe - Vukcevich take a close look at White's adventurous knights variation.

Then...

Hamdouchi - Mogranzini finally sees 8...b5 tested by what I've always been saying is the critical 9 a4:

in the 'Dragadorf', 'Dragondorf' or whatever it eventually gets called!

Zambrana - Denny is an entertaining Black victory in the Chinese variation and then we have two Yugoslav Attack 9 0-0-0 lines.

Certainly Golubev - Mankeyev isn't a Black line that will be taking off:

but, Goh Weiming-Atia continues to provide that alternative to the critical 14...hxg6 in the ...Nxd4 and ...Be6 line:

Bye for now. See you soon
