Closed Sicilian [B23]

Mark Brook from Scotland wants to know more about 2...e6 in the Closed Sicilian.

In the game Spanton-Tandrup, Black goes in the opening and is punished with a knockout blow.

Moskalenko-Sveshnikov shows Black fighting for the initiative in the main line and this eventually tips the games in his favour.

Shakhov-Zhukov shows White with a slight edge but managing to create strong tactical chances.

Novelty of the month
